Monica Pierre is a three-time Emmy Award-winning reporter, producer, educator, and speaker based in New Orleans. She serves as an Assistant Professor of Practice in the Mass Communication department at Xavier University of Louisiana, where she prepares students for careers in multimedia storytelling and communication. Monica has produced and hosted numerous radio and television talk shows and reported on major news events, including the historic coverage of Hurricane Katrina.
